Last week I had the pleasure of going to Ireland. I got to meet some relatives that were slightly wealthy in regards to those in Ireland.
Europe is an interesting place. It reminds me a lot of the cities around Lake Erie in the states. It's always cloudy and the sun seems like it doesn't like to come out much.
I think I would much prefer to have relatives that were in more equatorial regions but alas that's not my destiny.
While in Ireland I was able to see their lush green hills and some ancient relics.
It was pretty cool.
The one place I visited had a slew of little town bars and when I walked in, I was definitely the stranger in the place.
As soon as I spoke though, they locals seemed interested in having a good time seeing how much I could drink.
We had a good night but I woke up in the morning with a terrible back ache and ended up having to go see a Wexford Chiropractor as I continued my tour through Europe with one of my distant cousins.
Apparently this was not the first time something like this happened.
It seems like the locals have chiropractors on call because they get so silly with their drinking that they often stumble and fall and with the way the streets are, it is easy to lose your footing....especially is you're a clutz like me.
So now that I've had an adjustment and consequently had to get a small ankle brace due to my fall, I have a great memory of a night in Ireland and got to see how their medical facilities are.
They are nice.
I don't know why people are afraid of medical treatments outside of the states. It seemed totally fine to me. I'll be sure to post if I grow a 6th toe or something from the painkiller he gave me.
Well, That's my update! I'll post more about my Gemini Convention that I'm going to this winter!
